Upper Goose Pond

We stayed at the Berkshire-AMC (Appalachian Mountain Club) cabin located right on this beautiful pond. We enjoyed the evening with the weekly caretaker, her mom who was visiting, and some local hikers.

This stop was complete with an afternoon canoe ride, an evening campfire, and a pancake breakfast!

  • Beautiful! - It just looks a little empty without Aunt Peg and Uncle Ed cruising around. :) The trees are beautiful now, but I bet they'll really be something in a few months.

    P.S. - I just saw in yesterday's paper that the Leblon family has opened a Brazilian bakery. We'll have to check it out when you guys are back in G'boro- my treat! :) YUM-O!
