Thoughts on NY

From July 4th through July 8th, we walked NY. We enjoyed the rocky ridges overlooking beautiful Greenwood Lake, and we were glad we walked out of the way a bit to go into the neat Village of Greenwood Lake on the Fourth of July.

NY's terrain was a bit like a rocky roller coaster, but it was very pretty, which made it fun. This picture is from our first day in Harriman State Park. We climbed landmarks called "The Lemon Squeezer" and "Agony Grind." We did a bit of hands over feet scrambling in NY, but it was fun. (We also hear it's good practice for New Hampshire.)
